“The Captain” won seven Serie A titles, five Champions Leagues (3 times finalist) and thirteen other trophies.
With Italy, he played 126 games and reached the final of the European Championship in 2000 and the final of the World Cup in 1994.
AC Milan retired the number 3 shirt at the end of the 2008-2009 season. Only a son of Maldini family will be allowed to wear it.
